Support is available if you are experiencing trafficking, concerned about someone else, or seeking help as a survivor. The hotline is independent and not part of government or law enforcement.

Discreet and Anonymous Reporting 

Reports can be made anonymously, confidentially , and discreetly. Your identity does not have to be disclosed, ensuring your privacy and protection.

Guidance for Potential Victims – Safety First 

Your safety is the top priority. If you think someone might be monitoring your phone or internet use or emails, or if you feel unsafe, please consider your personal safety before reaching out to an organization or helpline.

Stay Safe: Your safety and the safety of potential victims come first. Avoid confronting traffickers or victims directly, as this could make the situation more dangerous.

Take Notes: If you notice something concerning, write down details like descriptions, behaviors, locations, and times, but do not get involved directly.

Children of the Street

Children of the Street, a program of PLEA Community Services, provides free workshops and resources to help keep young people safe from sexual exploitation.
Public Safety Canada

Public Safety Canada provides resources and referrals for victims and survivors of human trafficking, including access to the Canadian Human Trafficking Hotline, emergency supports, and community-based services across Canada.

Voice Found

Voice Found helps dispel common myths and misconceptions about human trafficking while raising awareness of the realities of exploitation in Canada, including the Ottawa region.
Rhonelle Bruder – “What is Sex Trafficking”
Sex trafficking educational video for parents and young people that provides a solid overview of how trafficking works, how traffickers target and groom their victim’s and what young viewers should look out for.

Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario
Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) is a network of 32 local hub networks that provide mental health and substance use services to youth aged 12 to 25.
Victim Services Durham

Victim Services of Durham Region provides prevention, education, and support programs focused on youth violence, consent, and human trafficking, including workshops, e-courses, and specialized training for caregivers, schools, healthcare providers, and community professionals.
Victim Services Toronto

Victim Services Toronto provides immediate, confidential support for any person who has experienced crime or sudden tragedy 24/7. Our services are free, completely confidential, and open to everyone. You do not need to have reported the incident to the police.
Covenant House Toronto

Covenant House Toronto is Canada’s largest agency serving youth who are homeless, trafficked, or at risk, providing 24/7 crisis shelter, housing, health care, counselling, education, and long-term support for young people ages 16 to 24.
AuraFreedom

Aura Freedom is a grassroots organization working to eradicate violence against women and human trafficking in Canada and beyond.
Toronto Police – Human Trafficking Survivors Microsite

Toronto Police Service provides a survivor-focused human trafficking resource guide that explains reporting options, investigations, the court process, and available community supports, while connecting survivors and families to emergency assistance, specialized police units, and partner services.

VictimLinkBC
VictimLinkBC is a support program for victims of crime and trauma across B.C. and Yukon. This service is toll-free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in different languages.
Foundry
Foundry offers free and confidential mental health and wellness services for youth ages 12-24 in BC and their families/caregivers. Foundry services can be accessed in-person at a local centre or virtually by downloading the free Foundry BC app.

Covenant House BC
Covenant House Vancouver is a 24/7 nonprofit that supports youth ages 16–24 experiencing or at risk of homelessness, trafficking, or crisis through individualized housing, health, and well-being services.
VPD Counter-Exploitation
Vancouver Police Department Counter Exploitation Unit investigates human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and related crimes while working with partner agencies to support victims, enhance safety, and prevent exploitation in the community.
Migrant Workers Centre
Migrant Workers Centre is a registered charity based in British Columbia that supports migrant workers facing abuse and injustice. We provide free legal advice and representation, as well as empowering education so workers can protect themselves and assert their rights. We also advocate for systemic changes to improve conditions for migrant workers across Canada.
